Accounts Payable
With the growth of any company comes added volume. Vendors and vendor relations will demand special attention from someone representing your company to help avoid double payments, late fees, and policy cancellations due to missed deadlines (e.g., sales tax, workers' comp, insurance, etc.). Because the ramifications of such happenings can become astronomical, it is important to keep the payables prioritized properly even if it requires selecting which to pay and which not to pay until a later date. As you may imagine, this is not a task you want someone to "robotically" process without careful attention to details and priorities.
